Praying to Saint Isidore

Farmers and people from the countryside take part in a procession in honor to Isidore the Farm Labourer, the catholic patron saint of farmers. Irun (Basque Country) May 15, 2016. Every may 15th, some farmers parade with a statue of Saint Isidore around Saint Martial’s country chapel and a priest blesses the fields to ask good weather and an excelent harvest for the following year.
